About the Project
In 2009, the prototype of the ASB GlassFloor, version 'ASB MultiSports', was installed at Schloss Stein private school. A total of 485 square metres of glass flooring, along with line systems for basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton, were laid.
Since then, the floor has been in daily use for school sports and other events, demonstrating its remarkable durability. Even after 15 years of heavy use, it still looks as pristine as it did on the day of installation and will continue to serve for many more years.
The product has undergone significant development since its initial installation. For example, deactivated lines are no longer visible through the glass.
