Your tasks with us 

  • Controlling of national and international installation projects 
  • Preparation of project calculations, budgets, and forecasts 
  • Analysis of project costs, effort, and resource planning

We are now looking for you at our location in Stein an der Traun as a Development Technician (m/f/d) – Research und Development: 

 

Your tasks with us 

  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of test setups on prototypes.
  • Conduct and document tests and measurement series.
  • Assist with the evaluation of test results.
  • Maintain and prepare technical documentation, test reports, and test summaries.
  • Providing administrative support to the R&D team for ongoing development projects.
  • Assisting with the organization and tracking of development and testing activities. 

 

What you bring with you 

  • Completed vocational training, a college degree, or equivalent in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, sports technology, or a related field.
  • Technical understanding and an interest in hands-on development and testing tasks.
  • A structured and meticulous approach to work.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Good German and English skills are a plus.
  • A hands-on mindset and a passion for trying things out in practice. 

 

What’s Especially Important to Us 

Our development work doesn’t always proceed at a steady pace. Test setups and test series are often project-specific and can at times require a greater time commitment, while there may also be quieter periods between individual test phases or times when the work shifts to a desk. 

That’s why we’re looking for someone who: 

  • can organize their work schedule flexibly,
  • is available to work several hours at a time on test setups when needed,
  • can adapt to fluctuating workloads,
  • is comfortable with documentation tasks. 

We are now looking for you at our location in Stein an der Traun as a Design Engineer (m/f/d):

Your tasks with us:

  • Management and coordination: Independent management and execution of our customer projects – from planning to successful completion. 
  • Project management: Central point of contact for customers, planning partners, and internal teams for all electrical engineering issues. 
  • Technical responsibility: Ensuring the technical and economic implementation of the assigned projects. 
  • Planning and implementation: Implementation planning with selection and specification of electrical parts and components (e.g., power supplies, controllers, cabling). 
  • Quality assurance: Testing and commissioning of electronic components in compliance with applicable electrical engineering regulations (VDE 0100-600). 
  • Product development: Development of innovative electrical engineering solutions to increase performance, functionality, and energy efficiency. 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed training in electrical engineering or master craftsman/technician/degree in media technology, electrical engineering, or comparable technical training. 
  • You are interested in further developing our company, our processes, and our products and taking them to the next level. 
  • Experience in LED / video technology or event technology is welcome. 
  • You have a reliable, results-oriented and independent way of working. 
  • You are enthusiastic and passionate about what you do and are keen to continuously develop yourself further. 
  • You are fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English.

We are looking for you, a fitter / craftsman / all-rounder who has the talent to work precisely and independently with a wide variety of materials such as glass, metal, wood, plaster and LEDs. You work in an experienced team and every assembly is discussed and prepared in detail.

ASB GlassFloor America

ASB GlassFloor America represents our presence in the United States, serving the North American market with state of the art glass floor solutions and local expertise. The team is based in Orlando, Florida.

ASB Arena and Event Services

ASB Arena and Event Services focuses on the planning, operation, and delivery of premium arena and event solutions for international projects. The company is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland.

We as AES are now looking for you at our location in Zug, Switzerland as a Sponsorship & Event Sales Manager (m/f/d). 

Your tasks with us 

  • Drive sales of ASB LumiFlex rentals by sourcing, qualifying, and closing deals with event organizers and venues.
  • Develop tailored proposals and offers, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Create, package, and sell sponsorship opportunities across AES’ existing inventory.
  • Support flawless execution of events, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Partner with the Managing Director and Head of Business Development to identify and secure long-term rental agreements.
  • Coordinate with AES Arena-specific Account Managers to maximize value and growth from existing AES client relationships.
  • Represent ASB across Europe, requiring significant travel.

GlassCourt OS is our software division, developing the digital foundation of the ASB GlassFloor ecosystem through real time control systems, data analytics, and interactive applications. The office is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

About the job

At ASB GlassFloor we are proud to have developed the most advanced indoor sports and event flooring product; a fully professional grade sports surface with integrated LED, which provides an incredibly exciting new playing field for professional sports, entertainment and even education.

At the heart of this innovation lies GlassCourt OS (GCOS) – an interactive software solution that acts as a central hub to process real-time data and display visually stunning content on LED court hardware. The platform supports professional coaching through player tracking and with real-time feedback, as well as sponsorship and marketing activations, live broadcasts, and immersive sport event experiences.

Since launching in 2023, and with the support of leading sports institutions such as FIBA, EuroLeague and the NBA, ASB GlassFloor have hosted the FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup, NBA All-Star Weekend and FIBA Champions League Final Four, as well as having permanent courts at FC Bayern Munich Basketball, Panathinaikos A.O. in Athens, and the ASB x NBA Athlete Lab in Orlando, Florida.

This hybrid role is hired out of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, suitable for candidates within a commutable distance of central Amsterdam.

What you’ll do

The Support Engineer is a member of the CORE Product Team and plays a crucial role in providing advanced technical support and product expertise to both our customers and internal users.

Own and manage standard operating procedures for internal and customer support workflows

Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, root cause analysis, and transparency across teams

Influence customers and/or local partners to follow best practices and work directly with them to troubleshoot and identify solutions

Act as the primary point of contact for critical incident escalations and resolutions

Communicate with cross-functional teams effectively in a timely manner

Contribute to, post-incident reviews, and long-term preventative improvements

Bring experience and new trends to guide team tactics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Participate in a rotating schedule that may include weekends, public holidays, and out-of-hours support

Travel within Europe and the USA for onsite work may be required

What you’ll bring

Professional experience (ideally 3+ years) in a technical support, systems, or engineering role

Strong technical leadership skills with an architectural mindset and solid API knowledge

Comfortable working in an agile environment, balancing rapid iteration with reliability

User-led approach: proven experience designing for sports coaches, athletes and fans

Quick, balanced and informed decision making with rock-solid reliability (sports events don’t get a second take)

Adaptable interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication in English, and a strong focus on clear documentation

Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or German is a plus but not essential

Legally permitted to work in the Netherlands, or willing to relocate.
