Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional to join our team and help drive company sales across the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the sports industries. As a sales executive, you will be responsible for generating new leads, executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships within the sports industry including but not limited to professional sports leagues and college sports.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the sales strategy to achieve company targets and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate new leads
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Provide product presentations, demonstrations, and technical support to customers as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 5 or more years sales experience with proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close
- Strong communication skills (orally and in writing) to senior management members, BoD members and senior external partners
- Strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work within a given budget
- Advanced powerpoint and presentation skills
- Strong attitude toward high quality, excellence in delivery and ‘client-first’ thinking (external & internal)
- You are someone with a real ‘Can Do’ attitude, not afraid to roll up your sleeves, with an ability to work and deliver results under pressure
- Willingness to travel extensively at times
