ASB GlassFloor Enhances Basketball, Music, and Digital Culture at Beats N Buckets
On July 13, 2025, the BMW Park in Munich became the venue for a groundbreaking event that blurred the lines between sport, music, and digital culture: Beats N Buckets, Germany’s first-ever “Basketball Meets Hip-Hop” mega-event. At the heart of the action was the ASB GlassFloor, the innovative LED glass sports surface that redefined the basketball experience.
The ASB GlassFloor is more than just a court; it’s a multi-functional platform that serves as the playing surface, a digital interface, and a live storytelling tool. During the event, the court became a dynamic canvas, displaying real-time visuals, point scores, player stats, and highlight effects, all synchronized with the gameplay. Every dunk, 3-pointer, and play triggered new digital elements, making the game even more immersive for fans.
Beats N Buckets featured a high-energy 4-on-4 basketball tournament with performances by OG Keemo, Soho Bani, Badchieff, and Wilsn, alongside top professional athletes. Fans enjoyed not just the intense competition, but also live music, street fashion, and cultural moments that tied basketball and hip-hop together.
Next-Level Fan Engagement
While the event focused on creating an unforgettable atmosphere, the ASB GlassFloor is designed for even deeper fan interaction in the future. Thanks to GlassCourt OS, the court supports features like real-time fan voting, app-driven participation, and interactive gamified overlays. Fans will have the opportunity to directly influence gameplay, adding a new layer of excitement for spectators both in the arena and online.
Christof Babinsky, Managing Director of ASB GlassFloor, commented:
“Basketball is a sport that sits at the intersection of performance, culture, and technology. This event demonstrated how sports can be more than just a game — it’s an experience that connects with fans in new and exciting ways. With Beats N Buckets, we’ve showcased how technology can enhance both the on-court action and the overall fan experience.”
Philipp Dembowski, Founder and CEO of Beats N Buckets, added:
“We’ve created something innovative, something that hasn’t been done before and can serve as a foundation for future developments. The ASB GlassFloor played a crucial role in that, as we needed a groundbreaking platform to support an event of this scale.”
